Ballroom gowns are constructed using stretch fabrics so that they will cling to your body and yet allow movement. Depending on the amount of stretch and style of dress, most Ambiance gowns accommodate a range of sizes. We follow a standard sizing chart:

Caring for your gown is easy and affordable. Please hang your gown in a garment bag, supporting it by the hanger bar, not by the straps. Using two hangers, one for the bodice and one for the skirt, works well for heavier smooth gowns.
We don't recommend dry cleaning your gown; instead, sponge any spots or stains with a baking soda paste or diluted soap solution. Check first, though!
Ironing dresses can be problematic. Gently steam your dress, being sure to keep from oversaturatign the fabric.
Ambiance gowns are made from the highest quality fabrics imported from England, France, and Australia, as well as from the United States. We use only the finest genuine Austrian Swarovski rhinestones. Superb workmanship and quality are hallmarks of AMBIANCE design, and you'll notice the difference!
CONSTRUCTION
Our gowns are serged using three-thread seams that allow for stretch while remaining sturdy. Areas of stress are doubly reinforced as well.
BRA CUPS
Most of our gowns have tacked-in bra cups that can be shifted for a better fit or replaced. Some of our gowns have built-in bra cups, so please be sure to check for your cup size when ordering.
NUDE STRAPS
Many gowns have nude straps to prevent accidental costume slips. The color is on the light side, but you can darken it to match your skin tone by using liquid makeup a shade lighter than you normally wear. Please call us if you have questions.
CROTCHES
Crotches are either snapped or sewn, depending on the design of the gown. Most of our gowns have cotton lining for breathability.
RHINESTONES
We hand-glue each rhinestone, using a nontoxic glue. On some of the more glittery and stretchy fabrics, it is inevitable that you will have some rhinestone loss.
Please contact us for a glue recommendation, and save your rhinestones!
